Serere Township Secondary School is a government sponsored, coeducational secondary school. The school is mixed day and boarding “O” and “A” Level secondary school, in partnership with government in implementing Universal Secondary Education (USE) and Universal Post “O” Level Education and Training.
The school provides an opportunity to rural boys and girls to move up the academic ladder which gives learners competence and optimisms towards their future careers, to bring up morally upright Christian young boys and girls by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Serere Township Secondary School has a lower secondary that provides 4 years of schooling at the end of which students sit Uganda Certificate of Education exams in up to 8 subjects. The upper secondary provides a further 2 years of schooling at the end of which students sit Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A-level) exams in up to 3 subjects.
Mission: To educate and adapt learners to be fruitful and creative members of the general public with the ability necessary to pursue a successful university education, careers options and life.
Vision: To be a better private provider of secondary education services in Eastern Uganda and in Uganda at large.
School Library: The School has a good and well stocked library store for both new and old book of all kinds and subjects. This helps the students do research and carry on self-reading during their free times. The Library too consists of other papers and charts like calender’s. Bibles and most of the piratical guide questions.
Computer Laboratory: The school has a fully stocked computer lab with more hardware like Desktops, Printers and connected to the internet to help students do their research and learn during their free times in the school. the lab has two qualified staff who teach the students the subject and help them browse through the internet. Computer studies is taught from senior one to senior six to provide computer skills training for both students and staff of the school.
