Nyakatukura Memorial Secondary School was founded by the Church of Uganda under Ankole Diocese in Ibanda Archdeaconry. The School is mixed, both O’Level and A’level Day and Boarding, teaching Arts and Science subjects.
The School is named after the Late Eriya Nyakatukura, a great Businessman and Committed Christian of 1890-1960. He contributed to church planting and education development in Ankole region. The moral values he stood for are the basis for the name of the school.
Mission: To enhance students knowledge, skills and attitudes through effective teaching, co-curricular activities, a healthy environment, Currier and spiritual guidance for quality education.
