Stella Maris College Nsubbe is a privately owned, O’ and A’ level girls’ boarding secondary school located in Mukono district, Nkokonjeru sub-county. It is run by the little sisters of St Francis of Assisi as the foundation body.

Stella Maris College Nsubbe sprung up in 1967 as one of the most crowded and best performing schools in the area. Initially, Stella Maris College Nsubbe accommodated 350 girls only, but eventually expanded to 1000+ girls. The school was founded by mother Mary Kevin Kearny the great Irish catholic missionary nun in 1930. Stella Maris College Nsubbe admits girls from all walks of life who are academically sounding. Although Stella Maris College Nsubbe is a catholic founded, it admits girls of all tribes and religious denominations. Stella Maris College Nsubbe supports them to maintain and develop their faith.
Co-curricular: Activities like, sports, clubs and choirs are highly respected. Stella Maris College Nsubbe also has a vision, “to provide holistic information to the girl child in order to produce a lady who is self fulfilled with the highest academic standard seasoned with God loving and God fearing spirit valuable to her and valuing other people. Stella Maris College Nsubbe’s mission is, “discipline an academic growth of women”.
