Royal College of Kamuli was founded in about 2002 to serve needy students, many of whom have lost one or both parents to AIDS or other diseases. The school is a private school with a Christian foundation, but it takes students from any background who are willing to live on campus and work hard.

Co-curricular Activities
Besides doing their school work, the students take care of their own dorm space, wash their own clothing, help in the garden, clean up the school compound, help with the cooking and dishes, and help serve some of the elderly neighbors by working in their gardens.
Academics
The subjects taught include: English, math, physics, geography, commerce, Christian living, music, chemistry, biology, and art.
