Viva College School is a privately owned school and it began its operations way back in 2016 in the month of February. It is located in Jinja along the malaba high way on Mwiri Hill. It is an institution built on interdenominational values where diversity is well enshrined in its mandate to achieve.
The school highly promotes the core mandate of educational excellence through the three major pillars that is Social discipline, Moral discipline and Academic discipline in addition to the life skills empowerment that is propelled by the practical teaching of the various subjects. These enable the child have a holistic approach to life and its values as he/she looks forward to serve the nation as the great mind. This aspiration is derived from the schools motto, “Great Minds Shape the World”.

Viva College School provides all the subjects in the UNEB curriculum both for A Level and O Level students. The subjects include Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Submaths, Computer, Technical Drawing, History, Geography, Christian Religious Education, English, Literature, Kiswahili, French, Music and many others.
Viva College School currently has a teaching staff of over 40 full time graduate teachers, who teach and assess students in all academic disciplines respectively. The teachers also develop and write their own study materials as at times it’s required for our study programs. They also set the exam papers and mark scripts. This robust quality assurance mechanism has been endorsed by the school board of governors that runs the quality assurance Agency within the school; this is aimed at safe guarding the quality and standards of higher education within the school itself.
Students are all examined at the same standards as required by the Ministry and also the Uganda National Examinations Board, this principle of equivalency is enshrined in our regulations, and all stake holders are required to uphold it, through playing their principle roles.
Viva College School has been able to maintain access to an excellent range of quality facilities, which allow them to be flexible in how they structure their classes to meet the needs of the students. School Amenities: The school has enough modern and ultra-modern dormitories, well-spaced, neat and with good water/drainage system. Viva College School is also blessed with a neat green compound with beautiful flower gardens and minimized paths. In terms of acreage the school has greatly expanded. Power and lighting: The school has an automatic 32KVA stand-by generator to cater for the growing demand of power.
