St. Agnes Junior School have conducted four successful national examinations at PLE level in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 in which all our candidates have excelled by passing in division one and two and we attained the best 4 aggregate mark. The best candidate this year 2020 MEGAN ADIKIN that got Aggregate 4 has been admitted to Gayaza High School.
At St. Agnes, we aim at having an all-round child. This is done by offering both examinable, non-examinable and co-curricular lessons in a number of areas. We offer all the four main national curriculum examinable subjects of Maths, Science, English and Social Studies. Beyond the four examinable subjects, we also offer no examinable subjects including: French, Kiswahili, Computer and ICT lessons, Physical education to match international standards.
All the above are delivered using international, integrated and child centered teaching and learning methods.
St. Agnes Junior School has an excellent co-curricular programme with different sports like boy’s and girls’ football and basketball, tennis, swimming, skating and clubs like debate, computer, music, ballet, home economics, community service, scripture union among others. The school emphasizes academic, social, emotional and physical development of each child.
We also have various clubs and communities to enhance our co-curricular activities. We have clubs like Soccer, Swimming, Ballet, Cookery and bakery, Debate, scouts and Girl Guides, Community service/ Charity, Basketball, Skating, Writers club, Environment club, chess, Brain master for Maths enhancement, Music Dance and Drama club among others.
