Ntare School | NTASCO is a boys’ boarding secondary school located in Mbarara District, South Western Uganda with both Ordinary and Advanced levels. It ranks among the prominent schools in the country, both in academic performance and popularity. Mission: To produce God fearing citizens who are ready to take up the challenges of leadership in a modern Uganda.

Ntare School | NTASCO is situated on the convex slope of Ntare hill at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. To the East, is a relatively deep valley from which the school’s premises emerge. This rises gently westwards forming an extensive low lying flat topped hill with Nkokonjeru and Kamukuzi, the seat of the capital of the Kingdom of Nkore. The South West is occupied by the school’s play ground in the flat bottomed valley of Kakyeka.

Medical Facility The Ntare School sickbay is located at the heart of the school. It has a capacity of 12 beds for in-patients and offers round the clock health services to its clients with basic laboratory services inclusive.
With a catchment of over 2000 people, this facility takes care of all the health concerns of students, staff and their relatives.
It is usually well stocked with the necessary drugs and equipment. Services are offered to all clients at no cost.
The facility boasts of two well experienced staff; a Clinician and a Registered nurse who have been in the business for more than 10 years.
The facility in addition has got affiliate clinics in the neighborhood that help in dealing with specialized cases for example, dental, ophthalmic (eye) and complicated cases that cannot be handled at the school at a subsidized cost. This ensures that all round care is offered to our clients (students and staff) to keep them as healthy as we possibly can. This in-turn helps to maximize each and everyone’s potential – to study as in the case of students and work for staff, as we endeavor to keep abreast with our school motto: ‘Better Your Best’.
