Malaika Kindergarten is a multi-cultural school which admits pupils from both local and international communities, of any religion, race, color, nation and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programmes and activities provided that the openings are available. Enrollment normally takes place before the beginning of the term/year. Admissions are recommended at the start of the academic year to ensure a quick integration into the school and so as not to fall behind with the academic program.

The Director and head of school, Mrs Stellamaris Atagbuzia is a master degree holder in Counseling psychology , a degree in Health education and a qualified early years Education practitioner with a Montessori bias from the UK.
Mrs Atagbuzia has teaching experience in different Kenyan schools and Uganda schools.

Malaika was established in 2011 by Ms. Chantal WAZA and Chantal Makuza, as a high quality, friendly and multicultural pre-school in the heart of Lubowa. We are now located in Kigo and run from Kindergarten up to year 7 of Primary. The School prides itself in a homely environment that enables the effective identification and molding of each individual child’s bespoke capabilities. The latter goes a long way in ensuring that potential is exploited to the fullest with precipitation of a holistic citizen as the end goal.
