St. Theresa Kisubi Girls’ Primary School is a catholic founded school for both day and boarding pupils. It located in Wakiso District, 14 miles from Kampala, and 8km from Entebbe International Airport. Our Ordinary is the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese. This school was started way back in 1915 by the Sisters of the congregation of Our lady of Africa popularly known as the White Sisters. Their major objective for starting such a school was to help the girl child learn how to look after a home and some basics in Catechism. Later on, formal education was considered as an urgent need to the young girls. In 1971, the administration of the school was handed over to the African Sisters of congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix (Ggogonya), who are still running it.

The school follows the national curriculum but the major subjects are English, Mathematics, Science Social studies not forgetting that we embrace the Thematic curriculum in P.1 to P.3 and transition for P.4. In addition to that we emphasize co-curricular activities more so the self – reliant projects like gardening, cattle rearing, piggery ,rabbitary , goats and poultry. In August this year, we hope to take 15 girl guides to a camping site at Kaazi where they will stay for 7 days. We also plan to take the primary 6 and 7 daughters to a tour of Murchison falls.

I have been hearing about the school since years back and I would like my girl to join soon or later but I don’t know the procedure.
