Rainbow International School Uganda | RISU, opened in 1991, is a co-educational international school located in Tyaba Zone, Nanganda-Lukuli, Makindye Division, Kampala District. A strongly multicultural school, with students from around sixty nationalities and an all-inclusive philosophy.
With almost 900 students, RISU offers the full English curriculum at all five key stages from Foundation Stage right up to pre-university level.

Admissions
Applications for admission into Rainbow International School Uganda | RISU are received throughout the year. However, the main admission period begins in January of each academic year for admission the following academic year (August).
The first round of admissions closes at the end of April each year. Places for the new academic year will not be given before this.
The Rainbow admissions policy reflects our all-inclusive philosophy and we are happy to consider applications from any child of school age. The procedure to be followed in considering an application depends very much on the stage the child has reached in their education but whatever the age of the child, before offering a place we need to know the child’s previous educational background and know how well he or she will be suited to the programme we offer at Rainbow. All applicants are normally interviewed by the head teacher or deputy head prior to the offer of a place and their decision regarding placement of a child will be final.

Co-curriculum
Rainbow International School Uganda extra-curricular activities include; swimming, music, drama, chess, soccer, tennis, judo, rugby, poetry, among others.
Fees
At Rainbow International School Uganda | RISU, school fees are quoted annually for early years (Kindergarten and reception), key stage 1 to 3, IGCSE, and A level. Additional costs include admission fee, caution fee (refundable on leaving the school), and medical insurance.
Lunch: The lunch menu at Rainbow International School Uganda | RISU offers vegetarian option, meat option, extras and salads from Monday to Friday. Lunch fees vary from infants, Junior and secondary levels.
Payment Methods
Rainbow International School Uganda | RISU, receives cash in US$ or Uganda Shillings at our school accounts office. RISU also receives cheques payable to Rainbow International School 2003 Limited and should be sent to the accounts office
