Welcome to Naalya Senior Secondary School – Bweyogerere! It is our mission to produce morally upright citizens to serve the nation. The educational philosophy is that “No student is dull or incapable once given the right education”.
Established in 2004, the school was born with the intention of educating and accommodating the growing number of Naalya students. It was founded by Ugandan teachers alongside Nanseera Mixed Farm. With over 100 students from start-up, most of the teachers at the Namugongo campus started part-time as permanent staff were recruited. The first headteacher , who incidently setoff the school to greater heights, was Mr. Dumba. P in 2004. He was later succeeded by Mrs. Nsangi, Robinah, S until present.
Naalya Senior Secondary School – Bweyogerere has ample space to accommodate students and facilities that contribute towards the students comfort, knowledge and skills. These include dormitories, classrooms, computer and science labs, activity areas including; a football pitch, athletics track, basketball and netball courts, gardens for agricultural and horticultural work, home economics kitchen, a main hall , a sickbay, and a library.
There are several canteens onsite, stocked with goods for the students’ comfort and needs.
Naalya Senior Secondary School – Bweyogerere enrols both National and International students between the ages of 11-19. Conforming to the Uganda curriculum stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Sport, the school offers students the chance to study at O Level and A Level respectively. Upon completion of their studies, students will receive a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE), dependant on the level taken.
Recent years have seen the Bweyogerere campus improve dramatically, and is currently recognised amongst the top 20 secondary schools in the country, producing students of a very high standard both educationally and morally.
