Mugwanya Preparatory School, Kabojja is one of the oldest all boys primary schools in Uganda. It was built in 1960 under the supervision of Brothers of Christian instruction Kisubi. It is located 3 kilometers off Masaka rd at Natete.
The land on which it was built was a generous gift from the late Stansilus Mugwanya and the school name is in the memory.

Academics
The school offers the Ugandan curriculum of education from classes primary 1-7 unlike back then when it offered just lower primary and the pupils did their upper primary at St. Savio School. The school performs exceptionally well year after year and boasts of having very successful and prominent old boys.

The pupils also participate in music dance and drama and sports to develop and nurture their talents at a tender age. Worth noting is that Mugwanya Preparatory school Kabojja won the 2014 five-day National Primary Music dance and drama festival held at National theatre geared at fighting malaria and violence in schools.
