Kololo Senior Secondary School is a government mixed day secondary School. The School’s location (Logogo by pass) is exquisite and most conducive to what Kololo stands for; quiet determination for individuals to distinguish themselves by effort, involvement and quality performance. Kololo Senior Secondary School remains a formidable learning facility with excellent potential symbolized by equipped science and computer laboratories.
Apart from the visible signs of latent potential, there is an inner complexity that has sustained the school in turbulent time “Moving an extra mile for academic excellence.”
The school was established by Ugandan Government in 1954 to cater for the Indian Children. All students and teachers were Indians. In 1972, the school population became predominantly African. Following the introduction of Universal Secondary Education, six hundred new students signed up for S1 in 2007, three times the usual number, and the trend has not changed till today.
