Kisugu Church of Uganda Primary School was established in 1935. It has 1,108 students and 23 teachers, three of whom are paid by the management committee.
Although the school is located in an upscale residential neighborhood where many expatriates live, the students come from some distance and are generally very poor – it is estimated that 80 percent of them are living with extended family members.
