Kijjabwemi Church of Uganda Primary School was founded in 1940 by the Native Anglican Church, now known as the Church of Uganda. The student body is currently 574 students, with 300 girls and 274 boys ranging from Nursery to Primary school.
Kijjabwemi Church of Uganda Primary School charges 18,000 shillings ($11.50) per student per term and this covers all school requirement including mid-day meals. Last year the government grant was 1,268,504 shillings ($750).
