Kigumba Intensive Secondary School (KISS) started in 2002 as a project entailed using limited resources available at the time to achieve maximum output. Indeed, the name intensive is derived from that idea. The School is registered under Ministry of Education and Sports, O and A level, mixed Day and Boarding School.

Co-curricular Activities
At Kigumba Intensive Secondary School students participate in Football, Netball, Athletics, Music Dance and Drama (MDD), Clubs and Societies. Apart from the above activities we also have annual inter-house competitions. This not only promotes the talent of students but also promotes a healthy living.
Music, Dance & Drama
Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) instills not only cultural heritage but also learning among students. It is a source of entertainment and recreation. At Kigumba Intensive S.S, students participate in MDD in order to demonstrate their various cultures through song compositions, dance, and drama, among others.

At Kigumba Intensive S.S, we carry out Computer studies to give our students a competitive edge in this information Technology era.
Our students carry out science practicals in a conducive and well equipped science laboratory. This gives them a platform to understand science subjects in depth and elevates their Career growth and development in becoming future scientists
Bursaries
The School continues to provide different bursary arrangements to students. Partially this is in fulfillment of providing an education to all deserving students. Year one beginners bursary where first term is tuition free. The score could vary depending on the school of origin.
Internal bursary to the best five students in a class every term, Compassionate bursary to those who have lost their guardians until they complete the level they are in, and others where there is proof of neediness, are academically upright and disciplined. Your child can be a beneficiary in one of the schemes.
