Kiddawalime Preparatory School opened its doors in 1990 in a residential house. Founding staff worked hard to gain the trust of local parents to begin with 29 students. With personal savings, Head Teacher Mathias Kibuuka was able to buy land and build permanent classrooms to accomodate today’s enrollment of over 500 students.

The school’s critical challenges now include space for expansion and textbooks. Despite these challenges, the schools students rank among the best national examination scores for schools in the Kampala district.
