Kayunga Girls Primary School was established in 1958 by the Little Sisters of St. Francis. It is a government-aided school which received 1,676,754 shillings ($980) in the last full year. There are more than 895 pupils of whom 148 are boarders. Day scholars pay 10,000 shillings ($6) per term and boarders 125,000 shillings ($73).
