Kampala Model Primary School, Kyebando is a private institution that started in 2001 and registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports (Registration Number PPS/K/149). Its original location was a small rented facility that accommodated 39 students. In 2004 it secured its own permanent facilities and today has 520 students taught by 24 teachers.
Having very good community relations, school management believes it should, in time, be able to purchase additional land. Additional needs include creation of a library, IT facilities, fencing, and compound landscaping.
