Honey Bears Pre-school, Playgroup Nursery and Daycare is located in a spacious bangalow in Bukoto. It has a homely safe environment where learning is great fun for kids.The School has five classes which include, Play group 2.7 to 3 years, Nursery one 3 years,Nursery two 3.5 to 4, Kindergarten 4 to 5 years, Pre-Primary 5 to 6 years.

Well-planned playing both indoors and outdoors is a key way in which young children learn with enjoyment and challenges. Through play the children explore and develop learning experiences which help them become creative and independent thinkers.Using the following program;
Kindergarten Program
Children enter the Pre-K program at 4 years old. The play based and child centered approach to learning ensures that children in our Pre-K Program will be exposed to a diverse array of learning activities that help them advance their skills in the core pre-academic areas such as Literacy, Math and Science, as well as, further progress their social skills, creativity and physical development. The Pre-K program establishes a balance between focused activities, guided play, independent choice and exploration. According to each child’s individual ability, children will learn the sounds of the alphabet, sound out and read simple words, form letters of the alphabet, write their name, read simple words and begin to read and write simple sentences. In Math, children will begin to recognize numbers and count reliably. They will be introduced to the concept of basic addition and subtraction through a variety of play based activities.
Toddler program
The Play Group Program is for children aged 18 months – 3 years. The program is unique because it provides a gentle separation and easy transition into preschool.
The school provides the toddlers with a rich variety of developmentally appropriate activities, with an emphasis on social skills. The program creates a nurturing and loving environment that allows for the development of language, cognition and self-awareness through play and engaging activities. Teachers are there to guide our toddlers in their play, giving meaning and relevance to their experience.
Early Learner’s Program –Nursery

Through play, children will have the opportunity to choose developmentally appropriate activities that encourage the development of early literacy and math skills.
