Equatorial College School Ibanda was founded in 2005 by Mr. Robert Kamasaka a retired teacher who served in Uganda’s education sector for more than 20 years. This was out of his concern for children especially children from families with a poor background.
Equatorial College School Ibanda works to improve access and the quality of education supporting Uganda’s communities to achieve their future goals.
Equatorial College School Ibanda has worked in this area with local guardians and stakeholders to improve educational facilities and the lives of students.
The school continues to work diligently towards the goals it first set out for themselves and appreciate the support from stakeholders.

Curricula and Co-Curricula activities
Both Arts and Science subjects are taught at O’ and A’ levels.The school has games and sports including football, volleyball, Netball; Clubs and Societies including Drama club, Youth Alive club, Writers club, Debating club, Scripture union.
