Bwera Demonstration School was started in 1983 by the Kasanga Roman Catholic Parish. In 1982 Bwera Primary Teachers’ College was established and the students needed a primary school for teacher training and other activities. It is a government-aided school that runs from Nursery to Primary 7. 897 pupils attend the school and there are 20 teachers in 17 classrooms, 13 of which are incomplete.
[related_posts]Bwera Demonstration School does not charge student fees and received 2,614,400 shillings ($1,630) in government funding last year. The school would like to improve its infrastructure to create a better learning environment for the students and suffers from intermittent release of government grants. Additionally, the school wants to add Internet capabilities to its curriculum.
