Bukoyo Muslim Primary School was started on an Islamic foundation in 1937. It is owned by the Uganda Muslim Education Association and is now government aided. It has an enrollment of 656 day students and is staffed by 20 teachers.
Bukoyo Muslim Primary School makes use of 10 permanent and 3 semi-permanent classrooms. Last year’s government grants totaled 2,630,639 shillings (approx. $1,500).
