Bukedi College, Kachong’a was founded by the Bukedi District Council of Bukedi District (currently divided into Pallisa, Budaka, Butaleja, Tororo and Busia Districts), The idea of this establishment was to place and cause access for students to study and live together without religious or ethnic bias.

School Curriculum; Bukedi College Kachonga has a sound academic culture and it has established a reputation alongside this. The school offers a well balanced curriculum to give students opportunities to prepare for further education. The school curriculum also prepares students to deal with the challenges posed by the rapid growth and developments of the world, to solve problems, to become acquainted with facts and opinions and to acquire necessary information.
