British School of Kampala was born out of the growing need to give every child their legitimate entitlement to a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum, providing a positive context for learning which gives them a significant measure of success and self-esteem. We aim to create an environment where learning is natural and enjoyable. At British School of Kampala, we develop and foster those attitudes which help to produce happy, friendly, considerate and caring children, who are capable of working, playing and living alongside other children and adults, engendering a sense of community and commitment at class, school and neighbourhood levels. We follow the British National Curriculum with adaptation to the local setting in Uganda. The British School of Kampala has a zero tolerance policy towards illegal drugs. Any student caught in possession of any illegal drug on school property will be expelled from the school immediately!

Our uniqueness is engulfed in the affordable fees structure and the individual attention rendered to each child, taking particular care of their needs.

The yearly tuition fee (expressed in $) ranges from +/-2000 $ in Years 1-5 to +/- 3900 $ in Years 12-13 (exam fees excluded). Fees are largely charged in Ugandan shillings, a smaller part is payable in Dollars.

After School Clubs,With over 30 clubs on offer, at British School of Kampala, we boast in having the widest selection of After-School Clubs anywhere and they are affordable too! Clubs run from 03:00pm to 04:00pm daily. Every child can do a maximum of five clubs a week, attending one every afternoon. These extra-Curricular activities go a long way to develop talent and value in children for example swimming, Financial literacy, Young Engineers, Cosmetology and grooming club, Lawn tennis, Mizizi Kids, Expressive art, DJ and Music Production, Football (Age groups; 5-7, 8-9 &10-12), Swag Dance club, Debate & Poetry slam, Piano, African Sandal Making, Drama and Public speaking, Tailoring and dress making, Basketball, Swimming, Book club, Carpentry, Computer Coding Club.
