Bishop Egidio Primary School was established by the Catholic Church in 1998 and taken over by the government in 2004. It has 521 pupils from Primary 1 to 7 and is served by 8 teachers in 7 classrooms, two permanent, one semi-permanent and 4 temporary, grass-thatched rooms.

[related_posts]The government grant in the last full year was 1,500,000 Ugandan shillings ($680) and, in addition, the school charged 10,000 shillings ($4.50) per child as a development fee.

Bishop Egidio Primary School‘s main challenges are the lack of permanent classrooms and a library and would very much welcome an opportunity to have a sister school.P.O. Box 463 Kasese, Western Region, Uganda
