Bishop Ddungu Boarding Primary School, Kyamaganda is a mixed, private school, established in 1983 by the Masaka Diocese. It is open to all denominations and tribes, and its aim is to develop pupils’ mental skills and character formation.
The School was started with only one pupil and there are now 656 students, 30 teachers and 12 classrooms. Education performance has been good and for the past 5 years all pupils have scored in the top two grades in the primary 7 national examination.
Bishop Ddungu Boarding Primary School has a need for underground water tanks and for additional classrooms because of a recent increase in the number of pupils with the inclusion of girls. School fees range from 200,000 shillings ($119) to 240,000 ($143) depending on the grade level. P.O. Box 36 Masaka, Central Region Uganda
