Lyantonde School of Nursing and Midwifery is a private School of Nursing and Midwifery that is aimed at creating extra-ordinary competent Nurses and Midwives with ability to facilitate increasing access to basic health care services to the rural Ugandan population through the delivery of the National Minimum Health Care package.
The school was conceived in 2012 and finally licensed by the Ministry of Education and Sports in November, 2016. The products of the school are prepared to be able to serve both locally and internationally in both preventive and care services. Community members, Individuals, families, churches, and government units like Lyantonde Hospital and companies contributed generously and painfully to this cause.

Lyantonde School of Nursing and Midwifery admits new students annually for various courses that include; Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery, Certificate in Nursing and Certificate in Midwifery according to their preferences. A new academic year starts in November, and call for applications is from May to August every year.
We are located in a conducive learning environment overlooking the beautiful scenery of Lyantonde town.
