Jerusalem Institute of Health Sciences (JIHS) is a private multi-disciplinary health training institute which was started in 2010.
It is registered by the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Education and Sports. We have specious and ambient learning environment located in Barlwala, 2km along Lira-Soroti road.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery:
Our School of Nursing and Midwifery has the trainers and facilities to ensure that your study period with us is not in vein. We have a health practice laboratory all with a capacity to ensure your success as a future enrolled nurse or midwife.
We offer the following programs in our School of Nursing & Midwifery; Diploma in General Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery, Certificate in General Nursing, Certificate in Midwifery, Midwifery by Extension and General Nursing by Extension.
The School of Clinical Officers:
Our School of Clinical Officers also has the trainers and facilities to ensure that your study period with us is not in vein. We are licensed by the Uganda Allied Health Examinations Board (UAHEB) under no. UAHEB 077, this means that you are guaranteed a hustle free examination environment.
We offer the following programs in our School of Clinical Officers; Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Medical Records, Certificate in Dispensary and Certificate in Medical Records.
The institution is fully equipped with Health Care Demonstration tools, Laboratories, Computer / ICT Laboratories, a stocked Library and most important of these are the competent teaching instructors that have dedicated their live to bettering the standards of Health Care in Uganda.
