Victor and Sylvia Bahati started Victory School in 2006. Having known poverty first hand, they sought out a way to positively impact the children in their community and usher a possibility of a brighter future. Their mission was to provide an education to the most needy and vulnerable children. Funded from money saved by working at a local lodge, the school enrolled 33 children and has since grown to 300 children.
How wonderful is it that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world?
Victory School Uganda known as the KamuKama Foundation was established in 2012 to support the mission of Victory School to positively impact the lives of children in Uganda by providing them a foundation for a brighter future.
The school provides an education to the children growing up in extreme poverty who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend school. In addition to academics, Victory School equips the children with the tools to manage family planning, nutrition, health, sex education and farming skills.
Victory School needs your contribution to help these children. They are struggling to support the students and pay their teachers. Additional resources would provide them the financial stability to continue and raise the overall quality of education.
Victory School is a place of hope. It is a place where children are loved and encouraged to learn. It is a place where dreams come alive.
