Mityana Agro-vet Institute is a private institute, fully registered by The Ministry Of Education And Sports with Registration Number ME/VOC/064. It is also licenced by National Council for High Education, our Reference Number is NCHE/GR/OTI/86.

The institute offers both certificate course and diploma courses. These courses include National Certificate In Agriculture for certificate level and Diploma in animal husbandry and Diploma in crop husbandry for the Diploma level. 

Mityana Agro-vet Institute is equipped with a well trained team of lectures. It is a team of energetic male and female members who are always available to provide excellent training.

Admissions

Minimum Entry Requirement For Diploma Level
The Uganda Advanced certificate of Education(A’level) with at least a principal pass in Biology/Agriculture or a Uganda certificate of Agriculture with a credit pass in general tropical agriculture training institute from a recognized agriculture training institute or a certificate from a national agricultural college or has passed all modules taught in the first level. May join the second year and spend only one academic year in the programe.

Uganda certificate of Education (O’level), or its equivalent with at least good passes in science subjects and mathematics and English is compulsory.

Award Given
Certificates students are awarded a National Certificate In Agriculture (NCA) by Uganda business technical examination board (UBTEB).
Diploma students are awarded a national diploma from Uganda business technical examination board (UBTEB).
